  • Tart Doubtful In Debut; Stampede May Be Postponed...

James Tart may not be getting off on the right foot as he kicks of his self-proclaimed campaign to re-establish himself as "the most complete running back in the IFL". Tart is officially listed as doubtful this Sunday versus Vancouver so newly acquired Dominique Winton will likely see significant playing time.

The Stallions have indicated that they will run the ball more this season and they have indeed shown a commitment to that this preseason as they have run the ball 116 times through 4 games (29 rushes per game). While the passing game suffered through the first three games, it produced nicely in the final game of the season.

Booker is coming off a record-setting year and is looking to return to all-league form. With Tart doubtful, Booker's left arm may be unshackled and cleared for take-off against a suspect Killer Whale secondary.

Both teams are loaded on offense and have players on defense that can change the game. I expect a lot of points for the victor and not many for the defeated this Sunday. Hopefully our horses protect the house and introduce the Killer Whales to some good ole' IFL football.

Suicane sure likes to let go of those boom RB's (ie Sheldon Carmack).

Makes me wonder what Felt goes to once he lets go of him, the guy already runs for good yardage.

Dude, statistically speaking Felts is only slightly better at holding onto the ball. Plus, Winton's ratings went up remember?

You dont understand. Winton will cost Vito game(s).

I feel it in my bones. Winton is not to be trusted with the ball. I pity any man who gives him the rock and expects anything less than crushing heartbreak.

And don't you dare disparage the name of Darrin Felts. He is a golden god.

You're becoming more cocky than funny and I don't like it.

St. Louis will finish .500 or worse this year. I feel it in my bones.

my cocky is becoming, feel my bone.

Seriously man, Winton was an albatros on this team. If he works out good in SLC then Huzzah for Vito, but i doubt that will happen.
