  • Vic Carucci's Daily Dose Part II

I somehow chose 5 games last week. Smart guy I am. Anyhow, I ended up going a nice 2-3.
    Season Record
    20-21

    Game of the Week
    SLC @ CBA(-1)
Why is this the game of the week? I don't want to upset Coder. This epic playoff battle is re-visited in the form of a regular season game. SLC has gotten back on track, while CBA has struggled offensively against some pretty bad teams. My pick is SLC. This is based on one thing, and that is the fact that Jeff is not gameplanning for CBA. SLC will win in a big "statement" game.

    NWK(-5) @ DAK
A new GM takes the reins of the Spirit. DAK has some talent on their D. NWK has been somewhat inconsistent on D. I think NWK wins the game, but DAK will cover the 5pt spread

    CLE @ ALB (-1)
ALB was horrible on O last week. Their D was also shredded by the Bulldogs. I think that CLE will win this game, but ALB will win by gaining a better draft choice next year

    Vics Power Rankings
    1. LRK
    2. NOR
    3. COL
    4. LAW
    5. ORL
    6. SLC
    7. STL
    8. VER
    9. IWC
    10. NWK
    11. PIT
    12. LOU
    13. OAK
    14. POR
    15. REN
    16. WV
    17. HAR
    18. LAN
    19. DAK
    20. TUL
    21. MON
    22. WIC
    23. MAD
    24. VAN
    25. CLE
    26. ANC
    27. MUR
    28. ALB
    29. HOU
    30. BOS
    31. TEX
    32. FRE

I'm offering up my PR in total this week. Is Mr.Bigglesworth missing? Regardless there are some changes to the top 5. LRK earned the #1 seed by beating out NOR. COL has struggled against some bad teams, so they remain in 3rd position. LAW breaks the top 5, coming in @ the 4 spot. Ever present ORL remains in the top 5.
If anyone is interested in being interviewed this week, send me a PM. I'd like some input from the readers. Not sure if there are even any?????except Jester and Coder of course.

    Until next time,
    Vic

Then again, a Vermont win, and a Lawrence loss puts him ahead of you in the playoff race based on his division record.

I'm not sure what's worse, my draft position or the fact that I'm still trying....

Thanks Vic for pushing us out of the top 10. That guaranteed a victory for us. I expect to be ranked no better than 20 this week if you please. 8)

I feel ya. Now that I am OUT of the playoff race, I will probably win the remainder of my games, to further punish my hopes for some defensive help in the draft.
