San Antonio Stoked for Inaugural Season

Sverngold was seen, flying to West Virginia a full five days before kickoff of the preseason. As a gift to the City of San Antonio, he held a contest locally, handing out 5000 tickets to the game to lucky winners and then paying for transportation and hotel stays for those same winners. As an added bonus, San Antonio will be playing one of the first two games on the slate for this pre-season. The players seem to be preparing as they always did while at their former city, but there is an undercurrent discernable that they want to impress their new hometown with a good game on Hall of Fame Preseason Week.

After an impressive outing in the preseason games, San Antonio wins their first regular season game, defeating the Tulsa Tequila Worms 17-16. San Antonio fans partied (respectfully) long into the night.

After 15 weeks, San Antonio is looking to find a way into the playoff picture, with a tie in their standings, they might find a little wiggle room ahead of a 6 loss team. The city is anxiously awaiting week 16 to see if their new hometown team can set a higher bar for their opening season. Either way, the fans are excited, and very pleased with the product Sverngold has brought to the city.
