Stallions have completed the re-installion of the offense that they vacated last season. James Tart has been returned to the featured role and the Stallions passing attack has been adjusted to allow for the double teams Gomez has seen the last two weeks. Last year's breakout free agent Donnie Tyler (32, 499 4 TDs) has been added to the passing packages to give Booker a proven receiver as free agents Perales, Haught have not been able to make plays consistently.
"I think this is going to get us back to being the type of team we're capable of being", says Booker. "When we run the football, teams aren't able to concentrate on Gomez and Key and JT can force them to put 8-men in the box which should allow us to get the matchups we want on the outside. I expect us to connect on the deep pass a lot more often in this offense."
Reno will be the first opponent to see this attack and the Stallions swear that they'll keep pounding the rock no matter what happens Sunday. We'll see--JS
