First Rounder Herzog Signs 5-year $9.66 Million Deal
James Herzog wasted no time getting into the fold by signing his rookie contract today which almost guarantee's he will start at strong inside linebacker on opening day. “He's really eager to play in the IFL and learn as much as he can from his teammates,” said Dave Joens, Herzog's agent. “He did not want to miss any of training camp as he feels he can contribute right away”, added Joens.
In fact, all but one of the Stallions draft picks signed today. Nose Tackle Neil Glaser looks to be seeking a shorter deal than the 5-year offer the horses are making. Both sides say that they are very close to working out a deal. Glaser might want to note that Harold Bryant has already stated that he's not giving up his starting role. If Glaser misses training camp, he may be too far behind to catch the 3 rd -year pro.
