SEASON 2039
It decided as a result of under performances on the field that new head coach was hired. Burt Mitchell was hired to do so. Coach Mitchell brought in bring a new sense of urgency to the organization and specifically to instill better discipline. He brought with him a few new faces. Dennis Kennedy was brought int o be the new strength and conditional coach. The team has had a series of injuries which has resulted in poor results. Gene Lesher, long time friend of Coach Mitchell was brought in as the new Assistant coach. Dustin Wright is now the new defensive coordinator charge with returning the defense to an effective unit. Samuel carter was the only coach retained from the last regime as Offensive Coordinator. Coach Mitchell was adamant that if any coach fail to bring results, like any player, they will not be a part of the organization.
DRAFT
With the 6 pick of the 1st round, lancers picked Notre Dame all- American safety Fred Cunningham. With the retirement of Fackleman, the Lancers needed someone who can step in right away.

There was rumors of a possible trade in the draft. Coach Mitchell stated the rumors are true. We have a number of positions to fill due to aging players, but in the end, Cunningham was an easy choice and he is someone we know will be an huge impact this season.
