  • Lester Breaking Records

Dan Lester broke a "Individual Single-game" record at Texas Stadium sunday against the Pennsylvania Lions. The long-standing Passing yards in a single game at 565 yards. It took about 13,000 games to break Gene Hamilton's 2007 game record for the Calgary Stampeders against the Salt Lake Stallions where he passed for 550 yards, beating them 52-34. Texas slammed Penn 65-17 which also broke the "Total points in a game" and "Passing Yards" Team records. It was the second time this season he has thrown 6 TD's in a game, the other being against Georgia in the first week.

Looks like he's a bit behind pace to break the single season passing yardage or passing TD records, but close enough that it is possible.
