Today, the team formerly known as the Fresno Chaos, has decided to unveil their move to Las Vegas! Word on the street is they will be the Las Vegas Knights. We were able to catch up with the owner, Beast, just a few moments ago. He was very busy with all of the last minute details of the move, but we were able to get some questions answered by him. Following is the transcript:
Reporter: "Beast, why did you decide to leave Fresno? You've owned the team for less than a full season, don't you feel that was kind of a quick decision?"
Beast: "Look, the fact of the matter is, when I purchased this team, I had no intention of moving them to another city. The fans have been great, even while the team hasn't been that great through the years. As the season progressed, I had people from my team and even other team's owners tell me how the Fresno Chaos is a cursed team. I laughed it off at first. But, while laboring over the past seasons stats... I just did not see anything I liked. We've been a mediocre team, with a few good seasons that we couldn't turn into anything but a crappy playoff run. I could tell the players on my team are just not motivated. They feel like losers, because that's what they are used to doing. I decided the best decision was to start fresh.
Reporter: "Why Las Vegas?"
Beast: "I love Las Vegas. I've always been a poker fan, and it's just a fun atmosphere. I feel that we could also pull in some big free agents if they know they get to hang out in Vegas every weekend.
Reporter: "What's the plan for the off season? Gonna try to improve what you have or rebuild?"
Beast: "I'm open to anything right now. I'll check out the trading block and look over my team to see what I want to do. I've got a couple of young studs that I think I can build around. That's all I have time for right now.. just keep an eye on the Las Vegas Knights. We won't come quietly."
And that was what we were able to get from Beast, the owner of the Las Vegas Knights. We will include the new team logos and color below.
