  • London game

It's been confirmed that the Patriots will be coming back to London in Oct this year to play the Rams.

Great news for NFL freaks over this side and I'm real excited to get another chance to watch Brady and co again.
Had a smile on my face all day.

Pats/Rams should be like Globetrotters/Generals for you too. Somewhere around 45-7. Should be a great day for someone who doesn't get the chance often.

Joy two teams I don't like... Patriots back and the Lambs... might give this a miss ...
Worse though is the Lambs are here the following two seasons as well

Plan on the Rams moving. London is a possibility. The team recently rejected the St Louis stadium upgrade plan.
St Louis has to keep their stadium in the top echelon of NFL stadiums. If the city doesnt, the Rams are free to move.

The loss of a home game hurts St Louis and seems to be another nail in the coffin.
On another note, some of the PSL holders may sue fro Breech of contract. They bought the PSLs thinking that their would be 10 home dates (2 preseason, 8 reg. season). Now one of the home games is in London for 3 seasons.

I don't know enough about the Rams situation to guess if they'd ever relocate to London.

If the NFL has the political will to put a franchise in the UK, I certainly think London is capable of supporting an NFL team.
I don't see any insurmountable obstacles to it working either.

I'm not sure I would stop supporting the Patriots and switch allegiance to the London team though....most likely they'd be my second team.

i think options in north america would be explored first.

A team in LA would be a top priority. mexico city was also hosting games.

i would love for toronto to get a team, however it would mean the end of the Bills in buffalo.

Rams will go to LA before London. I hope Goodell wasn't serious when he mentioned two more expansion teams. We don't need the talent pool any thinner than it already is.

LA doesnt want another stadium. And where they were presenting that it be built was on the intersection of I-10 and I believe I-110. This is considered the most congested intersection in the world. I dont think a monday or thursday game would fly. So the other option was in the county. But then the thought is that no one would travel out there to watch a game.

The Rams sold PSLs or Personal Seat Licenses. It was a way to make quick money. You bought your seat then you bought the ticket to go to the game in your seat.
