I predicted he would bust before the draft. The immaturity he is displaying makes me think he'll prove me right. That always seems to be the biggest sign of a player who doesn't live up to his potential.

That's why Kozure's and my Steelers will continue to win super bowls. They don't draft those guys.

He does realize if he holds out and goes into the draft next season, he's basically guaranteeing less than what he's going to get now. IMO he's pretty lucky his injury didn't knock him down even further, and he thinks he's going to go even higher by sitting out a year?

If he sits out, then he will go in the second half of the first round next year. He will eventually sign. I think he has until Week 6 or something to make up his mind. But by then, will San Fran even want him.

take the fact that espn has been known to sensationalize sports news instead of report it and notice that crabtree isnt saying this, nor his agent, but crabtree's cousin and i put very little stock in any of this.

this isnt the first time a first round draft pick, or wide reciever to hold out on training camp (which is only a week in, if that) for more money...espn just has a great headline to throw up, thats all.
