I pretty much stick to the strat section in FOFC, so I really have no idea what the hell is going on, or who the hell skydog is. I just have one question, this guy can mod our posts here?

roadrash, the "edited" post was a joke from sovstar last night. I had a little story up telling the story about what happened.

SkyDog is the mod. at FOFC, and the bastard is deleting posts and threads because he got a little power crazy last night.

4. I missed a setting on Cringer's minor punishment, and his PM ability has now been restored. I told him that a certain type of stuff wasn't going to be allowed to be posted, and so he put it in his signature line rather than "posting" it. Again, knowing that there are special circumstances here that he doesn't fully understand, my intention was to give him a very minor penalty: no usage of signatures for a few days until this blows over. The PM removal was an accident related to the way usergroups work in the admins' control panel. His PM ability has now been restored. My bad on that one.

...is bullshit. If the guy ever told me what I couldn't post, he deleted it before I saw it because I sure a hell did not get a PM or talk to him on AIM. So to me he is starting to lie his ass off too.

Yes, and this is pretty much the post that sov edited last night as the joke...

ok, here is the rundown.

Originally sovstar (Jeff) and Joe (Internet League commish) had posts from yesterday deleted because they both made comments about FIDO. All sov said was along the lines of "Ass kissing like that is not enough to get FIDO back and updating his utility." Don't remember why exactly what Joe said but it was something about the same, Fido is a dick, or something like that.

Anyways, they both find out today that they were also suspended. I found out and it pissed me off, mostly because things a million times worse are said on that board and nothing hppens, and also because neither guy was told that he was suspended, much less why.

So, I started a thread simply asking why guys who are banned are not told that they have been, and are not told why? Skydog played dumb, saying that no one had been banned. A couple guys started asking questions about what I was talking about, and so I tried to explain. Skydog started deleting my posts so nobody could even hear what the situation was. Basically trying to make me look bad. And man, he was deleting stuff fast.

Then Jeff posted under an second name he has had for about 4 years now, and Skydog banned him for posting while he was suspended. This got Suicane going pretty strong and he started trying to get out the word of what was going on. Skydog kept deleting posts as fast as he could.

To cut this short, Jeff is banned, Joe is still suspended, Suicane got so pissed that he quit the board before he started saying more and becoming an asshole. Although not many guys probably know Suicane quit, because Skydog even deleted that thread, even though it said nothing real bad in it and said no names of anyone. I have had all of my control panel stuff turned off, because I put a quote of what Jeff said with the question asking why this would get a guy suspended, into my signature. So I can not have a sig, or use PMs I guess....

A couple other guys are pissed too. Shorty started a thread askign what the hell was really going on and Skydog locked it up....

It's pretty much the same, and the story. It's a cover up man, and right now I have the song "We're Not Gonna Take It!" blast. :evil:

I've been playing on the internet for over 10 years now, and it's amazing sometimes how the different personalities clash. It's something you don't see in r/l because on the internet, there is no personal confrontation that most people avoid. The key is not to take anything on the internet personally.

the guy don't want to admit that he might not be what's best for FOFC - which is what i'm concerned about.

i say as long as shit is confined to one thread then there's no need to lock threads. he created more a controversy because people just want to know what's going on and that sheds more light into the subject.

That about sums it up. I think this thing would over if he had allowed discussion. I think many guys would have bought his so called explanation and moved on. But he can't risk guys asking what the so-called rare and special circumstances are that he says there was for the original post deletings. Basically he does not want to say he is willing to shut down as much as he can just to protect Fido from anything bad said about him in order to get the guy to come back and make utilities.

SkyDog is pathetic. that simple.

Let me preface with I dont know much about what is going on...

First, I think people should try not to take or get personal. the suck asshole, pathetic stuff is totally counterproductive and wont get anywhere.

Second, I think that, like in my own forum, many times reactions become overreactions and many times small things become big things.

I ahve no idea whether or not SD is handling the situation well. I sent him a PM with my opinion on the subject my idea of how the situation could be handled better. I think everyone, those mad at SD and those, out of the loop, and SD himself, are all good people that just have bumped heads. It happens all the time. While emotions are running hot it'll be harder to fix he situation. I suggest everyone, calm down, and then perhaps in a few hours, maybe now, or in a few days, someone ask SD to start a devoted thread to the subject and everyone can hash out their problems there. This was my suggestion via PM anyways. Regardless, I think that everything will work out....

One question though, in all seriousness...isnt it Skydog that started FOFC or is it run by a company or what?

He did not start FOFC. He was not even the original Mod. Whats his name was the main man at one time, Darkiller.

And Skydog will not allow any discussion on this in a few days, he is protecting his ass because what he did to start this, deleting posts by sovstar and GW Bush that were not really bad at all, he did it for his personal reasons Most guys would not like that he did that, and that is why that with al his explanations on FOFC about what happened, he has never actually said why those first two guys were suspended, or why he did it. He just calls it a rare and special situation..... :roll:

Cring, check out my last post on the HFL board. Ben and I talked this morning, I only revealed 1 thing he said to me, but I think it's a pretty big thing that people deserve to know if they want, and they wont find the answer on the FOFC board of course.

And you are right, that is now the main thing here to me. That this all started because he does not wnt anything bad to be said about his precious, aka Fido.
