I'm currently in shock from the latest of 11 bad beats in a row at online poker.
Some of the lowlights:
I got K,J suited and he's got J,9 unsuited all-in before the flop and catches a 9 along the way.
*I got Q,Q and the flop comes A, Q, 6. He's got A,6 (still leaving me with way the best hand) and we go all-in and he catches a 3rd A for the full.
*I got K,K and he's got 4,4 all-in before the flop and he catches a 3rd 4.
I got K,K and the flop comes with 2 shit ragged hearts and no A and no real reason for anyone to stay in the hand without trips. Moving on past the turn to the river and another shit heart hits and I'm thinking no way someone stayed in with a roughly 22% flush draw when we both have roughly 50% of a big pot that's steadily increased so I move head first into a flush that pays him about 2-1 for a 1 in 4-5 chance.
I got A,K and player#1's got 10,10 and player#2's got 6,6 and we're all-in before the flop. Flop comes A,x,x. turn comes x... I'm at 93% favorite I believe and river comes 10!!
These are some of the hands I remember on my way to my ELEVENTH big pot in a row where I'm the favorite yet lose.
The finale (or is it since I logged out?):
I got A,10 and flop comes 10,10,3. I go all-in and dude calls with K,3. KING FUCKIN' THREE if you didn't catch that!!!!!!! For all the fuckin' marbles!!!! Anyone guess what happened????? turn:3, river:3 and I'm thinking "I'll cut your fuckin' eyes out!!!.... right after I'm done puking".
Now I'm the type to sit quietly and take my beats, and honestly did so at the table for each and every one but I'm not supposed to lose 11 in a row being the UNDERDOG let alone the favorite. Hell 2,7 (the worst hand in poker) all-in shouldn't lose 11 in a row.
I've lost about 20% of my total bankroll - built up over about a year or so - in the last 5 days while being the favorite in every big hand.
I've always held faith that we all see the same luck in the long run in poker but I'm thinking "Get this fuckin' cloud off me" right now.
* These were in the same multi-table tourney and I was in 2nd place overall when each happened. My K,K against 4,4 was up against the chip leader and sent me packing instead of combining 1st and 2nd place into my stack and giving me a substantial lead in a field of a little over 100.
