I have a silverstone 800watt PS, X-Fi soundcard and an 800GTS videocard..all of those are less then a year old so I am just swapping them all to to the new computer. Using the same case and everything. My last mobo was a MSI Neo4 platinum and I loved it...right up to when it would no longer boot yesterday! haha

seems like you got a handle on it.

IMO the MB/Chip/Ram should be considered one purchase and esentially you are married to them with the possible exception of adding more Ram if you don't fillup at first. But Ram used to be uber expensive.

Yea, i wanted to get 6 or 8 gigs of ram but I refuse to get Vista so XP pro only recognizes 3gigs anyway.

I thought there was a way to trick the OS through Msconfig to get it to recognize 4 gigs? I could be wrong.

If there is someone fill me in cause I got 4, and I am sure it will tell me I only have 3!!
