We don't celebrate thanksgiving, but we celebrate Midsummer.. the day when the sun never sets.. well.. at least not for long.. the longest day of the year in terms of sunlight is celebrated in June and we have some traditional Swedish food and drink lots of alcohol..

Fish is popular, if that's what you mean, yes.. it's a typical traditional Swedish meal.. and 23 hours of daylight is just about right for that particular day.. which, of course, is countered by the 4 hours of daylight around christmas :P
