  • The last Sopranos episode..........ever

first, please don't post any internet spoilers. I don't know if there is any, but I assume that there is.

After last week, I'm sooo pumped. The last 4 or so episodes I've basically watched with both hands attached to my head. Not sure about what's going to happen, but I hope they don't kill Tony. I hope him and his family "survive". This show has always been about the importance of family. Underlying tone throughout the series, IMO.

Not sure how many others have watched through the years like me, just thought I'd throw something out there for me.

Well to add to our rivalry....

I've never watched a single episode of "Sopranos". I've seen partials flipping threw the channels and it was the worst acting/casting I've ever scene.... and I've watched late-night Sci-Fi channel.

Also "Chris" or whatever his name is will always be "Spider" (Goodfellas) to me which turned me off from the initial trailer.

Figures a Canadian posing as a Newarkian would buy into that shit.

Funny story for those who like this stuff though:

When I was in jail I was sitting at the table eating with some mob types.

Now I hate vegetables and in this particular jail you get your meals served all at once on a tray so the veggies were there and that was that.

I'm eating along figuring I'll just toss them when I'm done when "Chucky" (name changed not only for story but due to loss of memory) starts pushing his peas off to the side which evidently pisses of the BMOC who slams his fist into the table and yells "EAT YOUR FUCKIN' PEAS, CHARLIE!!!!" and the whole table fell silent.

      Peas suck!

I've heard great things about The Wire. Rescue Me is fantastic. RM is on FX or something though, not HBO.

Yeah, I knew it was FX. I'm a huge Dennis Leary fan, just never really watched FX.

I thought the show was great. Hopefully when they release the DVD box set, they show a couple of different endings.

                    Terrific.

I thought the final episode was fantastic. Especially the end where they knew everyone was expecting something, and they drug it out and just cut to black in the middle of a scene basically. Who didn't think that their cable went out or something?

Jesus fuck that was aces. The last 5 minutes may have been the best thing I've ever seen.

I hate to be "that guy", but being from Jersey that whole setting was just effin brilliant. I wont even debate what happened at the end because nobody can say for sure so I think it's pointless to debate, I just thought it was awesome filmaking and storytelling and thats that.

I was busy watching Surfs Up at the theater. I haven't had HBO for a while anyways, so it wouldn't have mattered.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

                              that last scene was great.

i always thought that was one of the best parts of the show, how they could take the artistic features of film and pair it seamlessly with such a mainstream narrative.

rescue me is great. the shield is also worth checking out.
