  • Tech Question (Local File Linking)

Im trying to link all the files on my comp on one html page for easy access. I've got everything down except that any file that has a # in it comes back as "could not be found" I know there ought to be a way to fix this without chaning every file name but I can't find it.

    Example: (Warning, Bad Words)
    http://www.suicane.com/5.htm

Every file does what I want except the fuggers with the pesky #'s in the filename.

It's frustrating the hell out of me.

I didn't notice any problem, what's it doing for you?

Btw, a quick fix is to rename the movie and take out the #

lol. I'll upload some if ya want when I get a chance. What im saying (and trying to do) is not create web links, but link to local files on my comp so I dont have to sort thru them. I've got 6 external hard drives and I want 1 page that I can open and just click on the link to open them up. But any file that has a # in it doesn't open. Im sure that the # is screwing up the process but im trying to figure out a workaround that doesnt involve eliminating the # from every file.

What happens when you try to open them? Nothing at all, or do you get an error?

So, after seeing some pretty damn do-able chicks about an hour ago and not done with my first of 6 weeks, I could use some of that porn. I love the A-C part of that folder. Just the fact that you have to divide it up to that extent makes me jealous.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
