  • Hey Electricians

Yeah, so I bought a SATA to USB adapter off of ebay. I was all stoked as my useless SATA HD would be of some use. Unfortunately the auctioneer did not tell me that this little device had UK plugs. I know a guy who knows a guy who wants to rip the end off and reeatch an American type pronge piece to the end of this wire.

Will I blow my house up?
    I luv British womenz.

That plug is actually the European standard. . The US uses a very similar version for 200v appliances, like dryers. You can but an adapter at radioshack, K-mart, Target, Walmart, and probly 7-11. but. . .

Make sure you get a sturdy one, in the desert, where we have 220 power, and all our devices are 110, we use them alot. Some of them are very brittle pieces of shit that start fires for fun, so make sure it is a sturdy adapter, or that you can see it on a regular basis to make sure that it hasn't been stepped on by a cat and broken.
