Wish I could, but I'm a student right now, and we're just getting by. Only have cable cuz it's part of the rent.....

In fairness to TSN, they aren't the only ones....Global last week was having a bitch of a time keeping the sound going!

They were the Canadian sports network. They came out around the time of ESPN, but had no affiliation. Like all Canadian networks, they have to pay money to become the exclusive Canadian broadcasting rights to certain events. I think about 2-3 yrs ago, ESPN bought TSN and now the TSN guys try to be more like ESPN, minus the quirky reporters and homies like Stuart Scott.

But they don't always show all the ESPN stuff, like in half an hour NFL Countdown should be starting - I love that part of the day. Instead it's the Ryder Cup.

A few weeks ago, ESPN showed a game between Cinci and Green Bay, instead we got tennis. TENNIS!!!!

I'm sure most (like Beans) will disagree with me but I've been living in N.E. for 31 years (yeah, the SEVEN!!! states that the Patriots claim are "their home" and somehow "are supposed" to root for them) and I decided a LONG time ago that I'd look at the teams the NFL has to present and choose one (the Bears!!!) to root for if I didn't have a home team (which I don't as I live in "Lawrence" and there is not, to my knowledge, a "Lawrence, Patriots" NFL team) I'd pick from the rest and root for them and yet I see my team about 1.4 times per year.


And now thanks to NFL Replay I get to watch the same game I already didn't want to watch the first time replayed for all the Johnny-come-latelelies who couldn't care 4enough to watch their tema the first tiem.

For the record: If you tell me right now that the Bears will be televised on Oct 14, 2027... I will be at my TV on Oct 14, 2027. I won't be there on Oct 15-22, 2027 saying "Oh, I missed my game. but somehow I care enough about football that I missed my game but would love to watch the replay. Could you televise my game AGAIN on Tues-WEds???
