My laptop is pissing me off

I have a HP Pavilion ZD7000 and the power cord is not charging the battery. I did some searching at FOFC because I remember this being an issue before with some people.

Cringer, I noticed you have a HP laptop and know about your troubles. I think you sent yours away, but I can't really afford to do this, not in today's world.

Is there an adaptor or something that someone knows about. My left hand is getting sore from holding the cord in. :?

Great news!!

Had a techie guy who works for me solder a new dc jack I got on Ebay into my laptop.

I now have power again.

This has made me happy
