Well, only 3 parties on the ballot here in Texas. The 3rd being Libertarian. I considered writing in Nader, but a big part of voting 3rd party for me is to help atleast one of them a higher percentage vote so they will get federal election money and get hopefully get into debates in the future. Nader being an independent kind of took that away from me.Originally posted by WarhammerThird or fourth party?

Uhm, thanks Underdog. Does Underdog do politics too?Originally posted by UnderdogVoting Libertatian feels good, safe to do there in Texas as one vote D or R makes no difference with GWB getting +60% of the vote. The guy who runs for President most of the time for the Libertarians is from a neighboring county from me.
I guess your post fits though, Badnarik was an underdog. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Actually, I am more libertarian than Republican. However, I have not seen the libertarians run a candidate that I could really vote for. Coupled with this year and 2000 when there were rumors that TN was going to go for the Democrats, I have voted Republican for the big prize.
I think the Libertarians really need to focus on getting some seats in Congress first, and that will then in turn help their presidential prospects.
