  • Niiiiiiiiiiiice.

I just got my dispatch. Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali. I'm going back to Cali.

Haven't been out west on a truck for over 7 years. Picking up tonight in Laredo and heading to Chino. This should be a fun little trip. Some west Texas desert tonight and in the morning, then my next drive period will have me doing some Arizona and east CA desert with Pheonix and the LA 'burbs to drive. On the way back I should get what I missed, funtastic New Mexico.

I love driving out west. Only bad part is my company doesn't go out to CA much at all, which is why I haven't done it since I have been here. So getting a load back this way is a pain I guess.

I'm glad you said it. I love driving out west, too. Driving in the east is claustrophobia. I especially miss driving in Nothingness Nevada. Anywhere between Pahrump and Winnemucca.

Last time I wintered out there, I almost enrolled in a druck driving school, myself. Serious.

      I'm very envious.

Yeah, these loads from Laredo to CA are new for us, so hopefully I will be getting them once in a while now. Probably has something to do with a plant up north closing down and moving to Mexico, which I hate to see but am pretty used to by now.

Anyways, I am looking forward to it. Nice to have a change in the normal crap. Like going over to New Jersey, but better.
