Not sure how many guys may have paid for this when they had their sale, but would there be any interest in trying out a MP league? Something small and slow to begin with, I have no idea how this thing will do in MP.

Anyone like it enough besides me to try this out?

I bought it when it first came out. Couple things though..

1) It didn't end up drawing me in. Despite OOTP's problems, I'm still rolling with it.
2) I thought that MP wasn't being supported in the latest game
3) If it is being supported, how many other leagues are there?
4) If there aren't any other leagues, why? And would we really want to be the guineau pigs?

I might be interested, if all of Jeff's questions can be adequately answered. I'm still potentially interested in a baseball league, after the debacle that was OOTP.

I just searched the Matrix boards and there is one thread talking about an online league, but it spans 2 months and nothing ever got started. That sort of scares me. Using the search terms 'online' and 'multiplayer' brings up no current threads at all. I don't even have the game installed anymore, so Cringer, you'd have to fill me in on how it looks.

Okay, for some reason this thread didn't pop up. Was created today, so it's obvious that no one has really played around with MP PureSim.

That thread is what got me to actually ask this question.

I am thinking I will mess around with a MP league on my own, see how it is. If it's any good then maybe I would bring it up again.

Shaun has been pushing guys into doing MP leagues. He has said over on those boards he is upset no one is doing them because of the work he put into that part of the game because of requests (or some shit like that).

Anyways, being a guineau pig league is what I had in mind. Something to try it out with, see how it is, not take it too serious. If it sucks, we scrap it. If we like it then maybe keep going, or start over with a more serious league.

Anyways, I will try to get time this week on the road to mess around with the MP part as much as possible, see what it is like.

Well, I'm gonna re-install the game here again (if possible - this will be the 3rd time I think). If Suicane is interested, it might make sense for us to exchange things back and forth as it might be a little easier for us to test it.

That league file size thing is a little scary though, for bandwidth reasons. Though maybe Suicane could foot it with his supposedly gigantic bandwidth.

Eh, I guess I'm just going off from what I remember the past complaints to be. Think they were mentioned in that thread as well. Who knows though? Maybe that is something Shaun improved on.

Feel free to use the space if you like, it's just that for me personaly I prefer to play fictional, early era, no finance games. The idea of a mp baseball league just doesn't tickle my specials all that much.
