Little bunny wabbits...

.. are fucking blind! Tonight I "rescued" probably the 6th or 7th bunny in my lifetime from the depths of window wells. I'll be watching TV or sleeping and then all the sudden I hear a clank against the window. This is followed by chirping - little bunny rabbit chirping.

So I put on some gloves (always heard rabbits might have lice or whatever) and head outside. I say hello and jump into the well. This must've been the craziest little guy I've ever tried to get out. I get worried that if they jump around too much they'll hurt themselves, because I've seen it happen before. I had to bury one rabbit before after it messed up its leg and didn't move or eat after pulling it out. Anyways, I got him out and chased him out of the yard.

Fucking Animal Planet should get up on this and give me my own animal rescue show.

About 6 or 8 years ago I was tilling the garden and bunnies started shooting out of the tines. A couple of them seemed to survive that trama, and me and my wife tried the whole heating pad and formula thing. Worked for 4 or 5 days. Would drive our house dog nuts having a bunnie in the house. Finally the dog had its shot when we went out to eat. We were gone for a couple of hours and the dog moved the bunny cage enought to unplug the heating pad and that was that.

Jeff what is a window well? Never mind I googled it. Good job on the rescues.

Window well? Would this be the sunken down area around a basement window?

OK, i was right in what a window well is. Never called it that back home in Washington though. I don't think I ever heard that called anything actually.
