I want to get into that game so bad but every time I load it up I just get confused, then quickly discouraged by the recruiting process when nobody shows any interest in my team lol.

That viewer looks cool though, hopefully one of these days I can have the patience to really learn the game, then watch my games play out weekly.

Well, we went 0-11 on the season. I put everything on auto-control after I lost to what I thought was the closest competitor in my division (prestige-wise anyways). I only jumped in to offer 5 bribes to David Bolton, a guy I was recruiting before.

I dunno. This has the makings of a pretty cool dynasty I think. Just hope I have a couple of years to turn things around as hire/fire is turned on.

I totally understand your frustration. It's a game that I've only managed to get into about a quarter of the time I play it. Recruiting is rather bland/robotic and it's also one of the reasons I just put everything on auto-control (not just the major asskickings). I think guys are just really "cold" and don't really give you any positive (or useful) feedback. You just have to have a good idea as to who you've got a shot at and recruit them hard. The week after I put everything on auto most guys ended up visiting me. I guess I just had to be a little more patient.

What view is that btw, I may download it and actually attempt a slower paced league where I don't rush ahead 10 seasons in a week.

That's actually the in-game viewer. You can watch your games if you select "View Scoreboard when Simulating". There are some other 3rd party viewers out there that I could probably help you hunt down. Honestly, I don't even remember how they stacked up against the one in the game. I do know that the in-game one goes pretty fast even on the slowest setting.

I play NCAA all the time on my ps2. I import my guys into madden.............well I save the draft files anyway.
I tried the TCY demo, and didn't really like it. I don't really watch College football a whole lot, so this cemented my decision not to buy it. Then I got NCAA 2006, and I play that game more than any I've got. I guess I'm hoping for a new one to try out sometime soon.

I hope Bolton is legit. My Southeast scout sucks donkey balls, so some of this could be wrong. I'm pretty sure he still has to be at least a 70 overall guy, since he was "Much better than scouted" and was seen as a 62 by my scout.




I'm down for a dynasty. I've always wanted to do a thorough TCY one and have actually attempted one in the past (which ended up lasting a few days at most). It will be slow-paced and might be a little ways off from getting underway as I've got a trillion school projects rolling up on me.

Should be fun though.
