  • My FOF league is looking for a few good members

Thanks Cringer for letting me post here.

Anywho, my FOF league, the IFL is looking to fill our 4 vacancies before the upcoming season. We're currently finishing the playoffs of our 6th (2008) season. If anyone here is interested in picking up an additional team/league, I'd love to have you. It is a league with NFL team names and we began with the NFL 2003 rosters, so in our 6th season we have a mix of fictional and real players. I am looking for owners to fill the Miami, Jacksonville, New England, and New Orleans franchises. If you join, you'd get the chance to constantly mock and laugh at Cringer's horrible team. The Packers are 29-35 since he took them over and aren't getting any better. So there's always that. Feel free to check out the teams and league and you can ask me questions by PM on here if you need to. Thanks guys.

I would say Jacksonville. They don't have a whole lot outside of the QB/RB positions (though they are 2 of the best in the league ratings wise at least). And they are already 10 million over next years salary cap. Miami would also be a challenge, although they have been the most successful team in the league to date. They have a ton of expiring contracts, and are already over the cap with just 26 (I think) players signed, including a top QB who won't sign a long-term contract because he's been franchised too many times.

New Orleans is probably the best situation of them all, and New England has some good players and cap room, but can't get it all together.

FWIW IFL is my 1st ever MP league. Very stable group of owners and good league to play. It is well run.

I have been in since season 2 with the Colts. You guys should suit up. It is a great league. Very competitive like the Imperial League.

Well, another team opened up today. The Giants GM quit because he lost in the NFC championship game. So they're open, they were a 13-3 team.
