  • Who gets Leinart???

Interesting subject when I think about it. Mabe I am alone here, but I think this guy could be one of the greats, right up there with Montana and Favre. So the question is, who will have the number one pick this year? Lets fiqure it out.

    Oakland
Currently 1-3, but to good a team to end up with the first pick(sniff sniff).

The NFC north is just fucking awful, this might take a while.
    Chicago
Is fucking terrible, and really, really...........did I mention really....needs a QB. Now here is a team that could use him!

    Detroit
I love my boy Harrington(I grew up in Oregon watching him play), but, lets face it, he sucks in the NFL. He has no clue what he is doing and is scared to stay in the pocket for more then 3 seconds. Another team that could really use a good QB.

    Minnesota
Has Culpepper who is having an awful year, but would not draft Leinart.

    Green Bay
I am sorry Packer fans, the chance to get Leinart would be just unfuckingfair!!!! You assholes have had one of the best quarterbacks of all time for a fucking decade now, time to pass the love on to someone else.

    Carolina
This team is to fucking good to get the first pick at years end, but..........if they did.....they could sure use Matt. Would be a good fit here.

    New Orleans
Now if there was ever a team that deserveda QB with a clue, it's the Saints. They have all the pieces in place, but year in, year out, they are just fucking awful! Good pick here.

    San Francisco
Do they need Leinart? Hell yes they do! Do they deserve him? FUCK THAT! You fuckers have had 2 decades of excellence with Montana, and then Young. Time to spread the wealth around a bit. It would be a crime to see a city who has seen more Superbowls in a decade then most of us have seen in a lifetime, get yet another great QB. Fuck you 49er's!

    Arizona
My second choice for Leinart to land. It has been depressing in the land of the sun for so long, the fans of Arizona could really use a great QB. They have earned it!

    So in conclusion...............
    My first choice:
Oakland-haha, not really, although we have had journeyman qb's since the league began, it would nice to see us develop a young, great QB, and ride him to the promised land............But, it will never happen.

New Orleans Great choice, good city whose hard core fans deserve this!

ArizonaA very close second to the Saints. Leinart could be their only hope in this decade for respectablility!

    The bottom line????
I will puke up my lunch for a week, but........the San Francisco 49er;s will get yet another great QB, and will ride his arm to 4 out of the next 10 Superbowls. Mark my words...it will happen!

Hmmm, going by tonight I am guessing Arizona. I know Dennis Green thinks he can plug almsot any QB into his systems but he is wrong. If they land the first pick, which they very well could, then Green has no choice but to pick him.

And the Packers, even if they went 0-16 to ensure the first pick, would not take him. They would get something hopefully valueable to trade down to someone else. This is all because they just selected Aaron Rodgers in this years draft. I am not anywhere near being sold on him as the QB of the future, but selecting a QB in the first round.....well, only Ancorage does that.

We have a Franchise QB. . He is called injured reserve. . .

No way San Fran picks another QB #1 overall. . .

I think Green Bay might jump on him though. If they don't get out of the rut they are in, their replacement could get a few snaps. If he fails, which he will because he has the same supporting cast that #4 is failing with, they might start thinking about it. Remember, Sherman is no longer the GM. He wouldn't take a #1 overall, he would trade it for a bigger bounty, but the new guy?

Didn't Denny Green go out on a limb and draft Culpepper? This guy is having a heck of a time in Arizona, but he has an eye for talent, I don't think Leinhart would slip by him. Unless there is a kicker int he draft that used to be his towel boy. . .

And as for my Bears, the O is pretty fuckin bad, and if we don't make the playoffs we get a new GM. . . Angelo is sold on Grossman, but the Bears fan are going to start to think the QB curse is for real.

It will not be New Orleans! They will probably finish 8-8 or 9-7 and they are totally committed to Aaron Brooks. Just ask Jake DelHomme. Jake was sitting on the bench 3 years ago when all the Saints had to do was win 1 game out of 4 to make the playoffs. With Aaron Brooks nursing a shoulder injury they decided a hurt Brooks was better than a healthy Jake. Needless to say they lost all four games and did not make the playoffs. Aaron had shoulder surgery in the off-season and Jake took Carolina to the Superbowl the next year. This is just another example of how the Saints continue to disappoint me year after year.

Guess its just me but i'm not a big fan of Matt Leinart. I think any team that takes him will have made a big mistake.

As much as I hate to say it roadrash, Horton or Orton, who ever he is, may be a decent QB down the road. I hope not but maybe. I know that last game was horrible, but that shit happens for rookies and he looked solid before that.

Tommy Thompson (new Packer GM) would trade down. I am pretty sure Aaron Rodgers was his pick, because he is the guy who has to plan for the future. And he is supposed to be Ron Wolf Jr., since that is who he learned from.
