  • NFC North

    1. Bears (1-1)
    2. Lions (1-1)
    3. Vikings (0-2)
    4. Packers (0-2)

I really hope Jeff still stops by, who would have thought that the Bears would be leading the division after 2 weeks? And that both the Packers and Vikings would start 0-2? Well I did, or at least that is what I wished. And it came true, lucky me!

I also though the Bears would lead after two weeks... but I thought they'd be tied with Minnesota at 2-0 so I'm more wrong than right.

However when Grossman went down I lost faith that they'd win the division... now with the lack of defense by the other three teams I'm back to believing.

That's the most beautiful thing I've seen in years.

Anyone here watch the Daily Show on Comedy Central? I almost ran to the bathroom to puke last night when they interviewed that Packer fan (the Packelope or something was his name) in his putrid Packer shrine.

        Blah blah blah blah.

Look at the Bears fans coming out of the woodwork after a win in week 2. Where were you after they lost to the Redskins in week 1?

And he Bears started out 1-1 last year, then went on to be a 5-11 team. The Packers started 1-3 and won the division.

I still say the Vikings win the division, while crossing my fingers the Packers can wake up and do something.

BTW, the Packers defense has not been so bad. They have been hurt by the fact the offense has struggled and is not really doing anything to hold up their end of the bargian. The 'little talent' thing doesn't help, but they have been better then expected I think......

I'll throw rasher in the same book as Jave. Funny stuff.

Who would have thought that the coin I flipped would turn up heads both times?

I heard the Packers are deciding between a 5th round pick and an undrafted FA for who they should start at corner. I just picked up Green in fantasy though, so I hope he bounces back!

If the guy plays well, I don't care if he was cut by the 49ers. It's like people ripping on the Packers for having a 6th round pick rookie starting at guard. Shit, Mark Tauscher was a 7th rounder who started as a rookie at tackle, he turned out pretty good. And Joey Thomas would be the starter at CB, but he has head problems from a hit last week, he seems to get injured a lot.....

Green needs to get 20 carries this game atleast. They have not given him the ball. If Davenport was getting a bunch then it would be ok, because at this point it is a contest to see which of the two will be the Packers RB next year. But Green has 28 carries in 2 games, Davenport only has 11.

Rushing Offense -- 81.0 yards per game (24th)

Thats a problem, as the Packers have been a heavy running team for a while now.

I was in Iowa on vacation praising the Bears on their D. . . Which would have won the game if the O could have done something ..

I think the members of this league could throw a team together and win the NFC North.

Can I be QB? I'm pretty sure I can throw a football all day if I don't have to worry about which color jersey catches it!!

0-3. Way to go Packers. Sherman, grow some balls. Challenge a clear catch and maybe you would have won because the missed FG wouldn't have been from so far away.

Let me just say that the Packers' only chance for a win over the next 8 or so games is in two weeks at home against the Saints. But I am not counting on it at this point.

Sitting at 0-3 and this is our schedule...

                          Mon., Oct. 3 @ Carolina Panthers 8 p.m. ABC
Sun., Oct. 9 New Orleans Saints 12 noon FOX
                          Sun., Oct. 16 Open Date
Sun., Oct. 23 @ Minnesota Vikings 12 noon FOX
Sun., Oct. 30 @ Cincinnati Bengals 12 noon FOX
Sun., Nov. 6 Pittsburgh Steelers 3:15 p.m. CBS
                          Sun., Nov. 13 @ Atlanta Falcons 3:15 p.m. FOX
Mon., Nov. 21 Minnesota Vikings* 8 p.m. ABC
                          Sun., Nov. 27 @ Philadelphia Eagles 3:15 p.m. FOX
Sun., Dec. 4 @ Chicago Bears 12 noon FOX
Sun., Dec. 11 Detroit Lions 7:30 p.m. ESPN
                          Mon., Dec. 19 @ Baltimore Ravens 8 p.m. ABC
Sun., Dec. 25 Chicago Bears 4 p.m. FOX
Sun., Jan. 1 Seattle Seahawks 3:15 p.m. FOX

This could get real ugly real fast.

Ted Thomson, fire Sherman now and name Jim Bates head coach for atleast the rest of the year.

You'd make an easy target but my Chicago gun is empty.... rumor has it that Kyle Orton handed over the full clip to Cincy....

Na, can't say much to get to me now. I have accepted a losing season. Shit happens, just hope Favre makes it fun at times if this is the end.
