  • Hey Mr. Bush

    Minnesota 8 Final
    Cincinnati 37
I guess the loss of Moss was bigger then ya all fiqured. But at least your all a family now. No one there to stir shit up

    http://www.vikings.com/news_detail_O...ecap91805.html

    My favorite line:
Johnson was yapping before the coin toss, sauntering toward the Vikings bench to yell at Smoot. The cornerback yelled back and made a "bring-it-on" arm wave.

Fifty-two seconds into the game, Johnson was in the end zone.

Of course there are gonna be lots of guys saying the absence of Moss isn't such a big deal. What'd you really expect?

"Oh fuck. What did we just do? God damn. Let's put our heads up high and blow our brains out."

Of course that's not gonna happen. And there's so much shit behind the scenes that you don't even know the real motives for the deal. Best bet is that cheapass Red McCombs still thought there was a good chance that he'd be owning the team in 2005.

Bottom line for me: I'm still glad they made a deal. It sucks that they couldn't get more for him, but whatever. Jave, you just wait. There will come a time when Moss does something extremely stupid. It's inevitable. The consequences of his stupidity? Who knows...

He just looks like a saint right now because Owens is such a dumbass. He will do something sooner or later.

This Raiders team even with Moss is at best a 7-9, 8-8 team. Watching T.O. week in and week out and watching Moss the past 2 weeks, I can say this with my testicles on the line. Terrell Owens is 5X times the WR Moss is and 20x the Football player.
                I luv British womenz.

Thats an unfair statment since Philly is a near lock to make the superbowl and Oakland..................just sucks. That doesn't mean TO is a better player, he is just on a better team.
And if you watch Moss play, he doesn't play for himself, he is doing whats best for the team, and still has outstanding stats. Sitting at 0-2 however, I myself am wondering how long before he starts bashing someone in the media.

Uhm, he plays for himself, and for recognition. He doesn't care as much about his team and teammates as you think.

It's just easy to look that way when things are going ok. Like you said, the honeymoon will be over at some point.

None of us have ever seen him play. Especially not me.

Bullshit. He blocks about half the time (which is a significant increase over his earlier years), runs out of bounds or falls to the ground instead of getting extra yardage (for fear of personal injury), and is a huge distraction. Is walking off the field what's best for the team?

If ya watch Moss play you will see that he pushes off to obtain seperation and is never called for it. That long TD pass yesterday is example A.

Just like Michael "my neck is too weak to play football" Irving. Pushing the DB's away to gain seperation was his entire game. But he was hardly ever called for OPI

Thats not unfair at all. I was making 2 different points. Point 1 is that Oakland just isn't very good, with or without Moss.

Point 2 is that as Wide Receivers and Football players there is a world of difference between Owens and Moss, you can just see it.
