Ok, so I caved in and bought it.. game runs remarkably well on my 3-year old computer.. though I do have 1gb of RAM and a 128 Mb Radeon 9600 Graphics card..

Oh.. and I suck real bad at the game too but oh damn is it cool.. I've only been dipping my toes into the multiplayer-scene so far (due to my extreme suckage), but I love what the game CAN be in mp.

I'm not really an FPS-guy, but I did play a lot of HL: Day of Defeat a few years ago (before 2.0 which I heard sucked).. but this game is just awesome in comparison.. the potential is huge with the squads and commanders, individual roles etc..

I just played a real cool map that's basically a bunch of street fights, no choppers but the odd tank. The US-troops were set to defend a broadcasting building from incoming Arabs.. wow.. the scenes were awesome..

This isn't really a review, it's more of a "hooohaaa"... I really recommend BF2 to all of you.. it would be fun to play against people you know too..

    US gaming= ALL FPS. lol

but, I'll have to check it out just because it could be a brainless distraction. so what is your processor speed? computer parts are a waste of money so i don't want to upgrade if I don't have too...
You can\'t diss me, I own you

Just got it the other day after playing the demo for about two weeks. Having a blast so far especially since it doesn't run too bad on this wireless connection. Still no mic though and really haven't got the team concept yet hopefully get that later on.

I never really got the whole "Battlefield" series. I purchased Vietnam, and while it had so much going for it, unless you play MP, theres really no point at all to the entire game. Then I tried the Metal Of Honor series, and was equally dissapointed.
Mabe I am not just a big fan of FPS......../shrug
