  • Gauging interest in a(nother) interactive dynasty

Kind of ripping off Bigwood a bit here, but I've had a thought that I just can't shake, and I'm wondering if anyone is interested.

I've been thinking of starting a new OOTP6 career, and just for shits and giggles I thought I'd name it the Imperial Baseball League. Much as I'd love to make it a MP league, I just don't have the time to make something so big as this work. So I thought to myself, what if I made it into an interactive dynasty just like BW is doing, might be fun, eh?

I've already got some ideas as to how to make it work, so like the subject says, I just want to know how much interest there is in something like this.

    Sound off kids....

I think it would be cool I'd put my guy in.

What would you do, start at draft level, or put guys in random teams minor league systems?

Okay, what I was thinking was to sim through the first season quickly, then put guys in through the draft. That way no one would be in danger of retiring or anything.

For the first step, however, I would need a series of team names with info, ie. park name, affiliates (all three), logos would be a bonus, park info if you want.... There will be a maximum of twenty teams I'm thinkin, in two leagues each with two five team divisions. First posting with (legit) league and division etc. names is in.

What I'm going to try to do is sim at least a game week per real week (more if I get rained out at work often enough), and try to do an update maybe every sunday, again work permitting. I'll be using Catobase to post the end of every season, once I figure out website stuff (any tips appreciated of course). The weekly updates will have to be sorted out as we go of course.

        Mmm, anything I'm missing?

Let's start with twenty teams, if I get all the info then we can progress.

No more than a team each please...

Just to simplify it, here's the info I'm requesting for a team:

          Team Name (ie. city)
          Nickname
          AAA Team name (city)
          AA Team name (city)
          A Team name (city)
          Home Park Name
Then pick an MLB park to emulate for dimensions and weather info, OR provide your own should you so choose. If you need to know what info to give for dimensions and weather (if you dont have OOTP6) then let me know.
          That should be about it.

            Team Name Tennessee
            Nickname Tri-Stars
AAA Team name (city) Chattanooga Lookouts
AA Team name (city) Knoxville Smokies
A Team name (city) Memphis Chicks
Home Park Name Sulfur Dell - have too add a wall in right Field to emulate the visible rise in elevation from the rest of the field. I would say just reverse Fenway park and that would be close enough. For a logo I guess just the Tennessee flag would be good.

              team- Dallas Demons
              AAA- San Angelo Diablos
              AA- Waco Wyverns
              A- Huntsville Hornets

Home Park would be called The Abyss and modeled after Houstons Minute Maid Park.

Ill get the logo for ya and PM it to ya.
