    Completely OT but cool

    I have two boys, one is 6 months and the other is 3 years old. This afternoon, my wife and I got the baby an exersaucer and decided to get the older one a little something.

    We went to Target and took him down the LEGO aisle planning to get him a little Star Wars set. But, he found the Darth Vader helmet/synthesizer so we got that for him instead. So he is walking around pretending to be Darth Vader. Cool enough.

    But, when I was putting him down, before I told him a story I decided to put the helmet on and have Darth Vader tell him a story. When I walked into the room, his eyes lit up and all he could do was say "Darth VADER!" So I told him the story, left the room and took off the helmet. When I went back in, all he wanted to do was tell me about how Darth Vader came to tell him a story. He basically had the same reaction I would have had 25 years ago had this happened to me. Man I love times like this!

    Anyways, yeah that is pretty cool. Good thing he liked it and didn't get scared, since he is a 'bad guy' and all.

      My son loves the movies and his favorite character is Darth Vader. While he is watching the movies he tells us everytime Darth Vader needs a timeout!

      Not only that the only thing we can listen to in my car is my Star Wars box set, and then only Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back.

            Haha. Yeah, was just playing with my kid. I was her younger brother and we were a prince and princess. She said our Mom the Queen was going to sell us because she only wanted one kid, and she just had one yesterday that she was going to keep.

                I know. But you just gotta roll with it man. She makes it up, you sit there and say 'uh huh' several times, and she is happy. She makes up some weird shit.
