yeah the laptop I left at home today.
Averatech 6325 first "new" toy along those lines I have ever had. It is my third laptop, but the other two were a 233 and an upgrade to a 266. when the 233's screen died.
Anyhow it took me a week or so of NOT getting a reply from ELicense for me to google a solution. Fourtunatly it worked and I was able to uninstall the license from the 266 and get it going on the AMD 2800+. Neat thing about this laptop, like anyone cares, is that it doubles as a 15 inch DVD player. They included the DVD control buttons, and a cool remote that lives in the PCIMCIA or whatever slot. DVD can be played without booting the PC. They say it will play movies for 6 hours in this mode.
That AMD throws off some heat though. The laptop has a fan and it exhausts on the right side, right onto my hand as I am mousing around. Small complaint, actually the only complaint I have at this time.
