Thanks for the welcome everyone!
I'm having some issues getting my team loaded up, but I will post it in this thread as it may be beneficial if anyone else has a similar issue in the future: http://www.fof-ifl.com/forums/showth...rted-and-ready!!
This is my first multiplayer action on FoF, so I'm sure I'll have some questions. This seems like a pretty cool league so I'm really excited to join and I plan on staying for a long time.
Edit: I figured out what the issue was. During step 8, commissioner was selected. Once I switched it off I was able to load my team up.Last edited by Beast; 06-15-2015, 11:02 PM.

I have some questions. If there is a beginners guide or something like that out there let me know.
1. How does exporting and uploading work? Do I just do "Export stage file" under Participant Functions in the multi-player window? And then upload that saved file to: http://www.fof-ifl.com/gamefiles/IFLuploader.htm?
2. How do trades work? Do I make a trade on my game and then once it get's exported and uploaded that person will see it once they download the latest game files?
3. I'm sure this info is somewhere, but I could not find it. What days and times are the weeks simmed?
4. When the week has been simmed, what process do I need to go through to get the latest files?
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer any of the questions! Time to go manage my team.

No worries at all Beast. I'm pretty new to the game as well (only a few months now) but here are my responses to your questions:Originally posted by Beast View PostI have some questions. If there is a beginners guide or something like that out there let me know.

1. Just hit the "Export Stage File" on the Multi-player menu and it automatically uploads everything to the league server. One click is all you need, no need to do anything on the Uploader page.
2. For trades just create a new post under the Finalised Trades (yes, I know I spelt "Finalized" with an "s") thread. Once the counter-party has posted that they agree to the trade the commissioner processes the trade. You don't do anything in-game at your end so you won't see the trade until after you download the next league Stage File.
3. The IFL sim schedule is posted to this link, basically during the season games are on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
4. Just open up the game and hit "Import Game files" from the Multi-Player menu. One thing that may want to do here is under the Game Options Menu select "Edit Multi-Player Options" and make sure that you have selected "YES" for the option that says "Hide results on schedule overview windows". This means you won't see the game results on the main screen and you "watch" your game unfold play by play when you select "Watch Solevision". That's my weekly highlight in MP :-)sigpic

Artie, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. That is awesome that just pressing export or import will automatically take care of everything.Originally posted by FootballAUS View PostNo worries at all Beast. I'm still a little confused about trades. I'm really big into trades so will be looking to offer them, but the few threads in the Finalized Trades thread seem like the two parties had already agreed to the trade somehow. If I want to start offering trades up, how exactly do I do it? I would assume the Finalized Trades forum would be for trades that had already been agreed on and just need to be finalized by the Commissioner. Is there anything I do in game to offer a trade or should I just start hitting up people via PM? Seems kinda weird to post trade offers publicly before they are agreed on by both teams.
