We close out preseason with a Win over Lansing, but lose our best o lineman for four weeks. And our thin and aging safeties are buggered up. GG Lansing!

backs ups were having a shootout in my game against the Mass Marauders..how cute...(GG tho)

too bad that my first round pick (the only good pick I had) goes out there and hurts himself for 12 weeks...my left guard is out for half a season lol I love it!

on one hand i can say week 17 because i want him to get the stats... but then he would miss the playoffs + another season... So I guess now?... I really want to say never. Wish I signed that QB in FA that I wanted to have as a back up. Now I got Buster Hyman doing the heavy lifting this season. Still think Madison isn't ready and Lansing has a worse QB situation than me imo. So I think we can still win our division. Just shitty that I think this season was gonna be my best chance because we got some big names going to FA next year and the team might not be the same. No one happier than vermont right now I am sure. But I think we will still win the division. I might be open to trading for a QB if any other GMs out there have a solid one. I think this team is gonna be hell to deal with next year with 3 stud WRs and a stud QB. Gotta wait until next season to see.

Despite going 0-4 in the preseason I am feeling pretty good about a few things. Don Barrett seems to be a pretty good acquisition and hopefully a QB to build around. We also have a young stud RB to build around (and we're going to ride him like a rented mule.) I am hoping that Petrolis continues to develop into a viable primary receiving target. Killens was a late bloomer but may be a good starting receiver at this point. Now we have a good receiving target at TE as well in Donaldson. Our defense is as good as it's going to get. It will be hard to pay all these guys within a couple seasons. So... it's time to start winning.

But my huge concern is how paper thin our roster is this season. We can't afford to have guys out... literally.
