I'm in uncharted cap territory. I just signed Mahe to a long-term deal and I'm now ~2 mil over the cap. Anybody know the mechanics of what happens when you are over at the end of the season....can't find any concrete info on FOFC

1. Am I due to lose a draft pick? If so, is there anyway of knowing how high the pick could be?

2. It looks like I can still do renegs that will add to my deficit. I guess the danger is that I could lose more/higher draft picks - any idea of how high you can deficit spend?

3. Does it matter if you project to have cap room at the start of the new season - or it is all just based on the current season?

the issue will be being over the cap at the end of the draft. you will forfeit a draft pick at that time.

I think if the game allowed the resign and you're over the cap, you will be ok.

thanks Matt. I may try to resign my kicker and see what happens. he wants 7 mil + a year - which is ridiculous since in this game a 80 rated kicker is only marginally better than a 50 rated one. But, I thought it would be cool to see if I could get him to be the top scorer of all-time. Of course he can still do that if he's not on my team...
