Well, I had a lot of hopes early in the game until I realized my team must have been running the same 5 plays all day. Midway through the 3rd, I got the dreaded 'the defense looks familiar with the play' message, and it was game over. 6 straight 3 and outs and 2 more drives under 6 plays and it was game over.

My defense played better than the score showed, so that's a positive. It's just hard to stop them from scoring when the offense picks up a net of 21 yards in the 2nd half.

Not to take anything away from St.L's defense. That's always a tough unit to face, but I expected more from my offensive play calling.

I was pretty excited for the win. After trading my QB and losing my RB to injury, I'm not expecting too many. I would happily be wrong though.

Keep dominating offenses the way your defense did, and you'll pick up a lot more wins than you expected. That was difficult to watch.

Not a bad start to the season, we ran the ball well. Some things to work on but overall glad to get the win. Travel to Fresno next week.

I still can't believe how bad Richie Sparkman was in this game. I mean, he was just terrible. Early on, it seemed like everytime he ran the ball it was for a -6 loss!!!

Good start to the season. I expected Anchorage to run the ball and oh yes they did. But our defense bent but didn't break and shut down the passing game. On the other side our running game was horrid, but we moved the ball through the air. I'd like to settle for less fgs though and put the ball in the end zone.

GG LA...gonna be a long year if our offense plays like that. I have a feeling we lack the top-notch qb and wr to make this offense go...was surprised we had a shot at the end.

I put more thought into Sunday's game-plan so hopefully we can bounce back.

I always call NO the 'Damn VooDoo' because of how many times a loss to them has really put the Mules in a bad spot.
