Just got finished watching our game.

Hats off to the PHantoms in this one. I feel fortunate to have been at home and we took advantage early. We are hard to beat when we carry a lead, and this week was no different. Our loss at home to the Phantoms in week 17 was in my head. Having Sparkman back changed our offense a little, as well as a few special tweaks.
very happy to have won this one.

on to the Imperial Bowl with an unexpected trip.

GG to Norfolk. That was incredibly intense. We got up 14-7 in the second quarter and with the way our defense was playing and I thought one more score would put us in a good position.

Instead, we had some crucial mistakes (Huntley's fumble at midfield being the big momentum swing) and Norfolk's defense held us at bay. We had to hang on for dear life as the Vipers put up almost half of their total yardage in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get their kicker a shot under 50 yards and he missed from 51 yards with 3:13 left and from 55 yards on the last play of the game.

Wow, I can't believe the way this team played the last three weeks with Hyman under center. He hasn't made a ton of big plays (or any big plays today), but he's completely avoided mistakes and is completing nearly 80% of his passes in the three playoff games. And the two times we got in the red zone, he got us touchdowns. With Perkins still out, I hope he has one more game like that in him.

I've been watching Hyman these past few weeks. you never want to lose a guy like Perkins, but you really have got to be excited about what Hyman is doing. Reminds me of LAW's backup QB a few years back when Amos got hurt.

                    Hyman is a great story.
Can he do it again in the Championship game?
Have the Clawz got a QB controversy for next season?
                    Fun to watch.
