2025 Week #4 Discussion

And I'm seriously getting sick of this team. Again, every damn time we started moving the ball, we seemed to have a first down called back with a holding penalty. Vancouver played a solid game, but we gave them some first downs too. Troutman has been complete garbage this year, as opposed to years passed. My coach is calling plays to the extreme from one week to the next. This week, it seemed like we ran the ball on first down 95% of the time. He isn't following the gameplan from week to week and it's getting old. The penalties, especially on critical plays, is getting old.

There is no reason that we should be sitting here at 2-2 with this talent. None.

3-5-GEO36 (4Q: 09:36) Chester Riley ran outside the right tackle for 3 yards. Tackled by S Dave Jacobs. The ball was fumbled and recovered by VAN Bert Lofberg for 6 yards to the GEO27. Tackled by Dan Ridenour.

Not sure I've ever got a first down advancing my own fumble before. It wasn't a game-changer but we were able to run more time off the clock and kick an insurance FG.

Better luck the rest of the way, and you never know, maybe we'll meet again in the playoffs.

Damn, I partied too much last night. I tried to wake-up in time but I woke up at 11:00. Therefore, we failed to set a game-plan. I need to work on that...oh well if we can win the next two games we should be in pretty good shape. GG Kobeck...

Collins has been fumbling far too much for my liking. I'm hoping he's getting it out of hsi system because it's going to start costing us games.
We lost 2 of our top 4 CB's this week and it will be interesting to see how we can hold up. I'm hoping that we can magically hold the fort down in the secondary.

Maybe this is the year we can close the gap. We are well rested at home and you are banged up. I am hoping we can keep the high level of play going to lock down the early lead in our ridiculously tough division. Maybe you guys will get hit with the flu coming to Orlando. It is a little humid this time of year...

Yes. Considering that we outgained you guys big time. The blocked punt for a TD and several smaller mistakes cost us the game.

Gg. I'd like to think our defense is getting better, after giving up only one TD, but that may be the young team we were playing. Next week's game against Carolina will show us if we are making progress or not.
