I like Steam.. I like having my games in one location, I like not having to go find the individual site where I bought it etc.. It's just simple.

From Jim's standpoint it's about reaching customers who may never have heard of FOF before. It's a marketing issue. The exposure you get from established marketplaces is very nice. However, I've understood that it's not very easy to get onto Steam as an indie-developer, which I think is a damn shame.

My limited experience with steam was that it took a lot of liberties with my machine. I want to do more than just run steam.

With all the feedback from the FOF community I am expecting a kick ass sim. I hope I'm not disappointed. Anyways, a new game is way overdue, I'm excited too.

with all the feedback from this game and the fact that he's been working on the latest iteration on and off for quite some time, I'm expecting him to have a solid game.
sure we'll find bits and pieces to pick apart, I'm sure.
This is the only viable football text sim game out there, and sometimes we lose sight on how good the game truly is.

the list of things I would want are basically the same as everyone else. Give the player MORE control of things. I want too set everything the way I want it. 6 team league that expands to 60 whatever.

And I want the data set to play different eras. Right now we play NFL from the mid 00's I would like to play smashmouth like in the 50s-60s and pure NFL like in the 70s-90s

reguardless I agree with Matt - the game will be sound from the running standpoint
