Any Free Agent Signings/Trades you are happy with?

I guy I'm loving more each week--Donnie Tyler, a split end I picked off waivers from the Voodoo. He seems to have that invisible 'it'.

How about draft picks you are happy about. I have 4:

Jerome Mueller - Thought he would be a break out star, turns out that might be Sante, who I wanted in the first round, but I'll take Mueller.

Dave Billings - He has really stepped up big for us, he has the second most catches by a WR on the team (1 behind the leader), plus when he is in, he is the target for passes.

Ryan Hartman - He has progressed well for us. Gives us depth on the line, and should be a starter next year. I only wish there was a way to get him more reps.

Randall Williamson - He is a project, but he has progressed nicely from draft day. He has performed relatively well in limited playing time. I see him as a starter in 2-3 years.

Trade pickups

Elton Clark - He has played well in a starting role. If my starters played like this last year, I might not need to have picked him up.

Cory Grisby - I have been bringing him along slowly and have started him from time to time. He will be a long time starter on this team next year, possibly even late this year.

Tracy Damien - Has stepped up and started for us. He has given us a very solid interior OL to run behind. Now if I had a power RB we'd be in great shape!

Robert Lucas - He has shored up the RT position for us, and is good for both the run and the pass. He will be a top notch back up once Ryan Hartman steps up to the starting position.

Thank you Little Rock for Arthur Osman. He doesn't even start and he's got more yards and catches than any other WR on my team thus far.

Also, Thank you Hartford for Darin Roberts. Roberts was only acquired for depth, but since my team has been slapped by the injury fairy he's had to start 4 games and hasn't performed terribly.

As for draft picks - G Brian Pihos is going to be a stud someday and WR Louis Halstead is developing nicely with a 15.2 yard per catch average and no drops after 5 starts


As for bad, Good ol' TE Ellis Connell could have made good use of the opportunity to start while my stud TE is out. But instead he comes down with some random impaired vision disorder and god only knows when he'll be back.

FB Jamal Cotter, payed good money to get him from Pittsburgh but he's been my biggest RB and reciever so far, my offense would be screwed without him.

Very Happy in Wichita with

RB Chad Richardson --- Pick 2-4 for me. Carrying the rock averaging almost 5 YPC.

QB Joseph Granger --- Traded with OAK since that rook took his job. QB rating of 75 and healthy which is big in Wichita. Just needs to throw a few less picks.

P Teddy Blades --- 6th rd pick and a hometown boy from Wichita. Avg over 40 Yds a punt and 30% of his punts are downed inside the 20. Great kid with a real future.

DT Maurice House --- Picked 1-25 and plugging the middle of the run defense. DOing a solid job. May develop into a star for us.

Happy with Campbell and Dorsey Rockett so far. Also glad I managed to resign my o-line. Hopefully they stay healthy...

Ok, lets examin how JaveGate has helped the 'ole Toads.

DT Tod Woods - Has played well, but not spectacular. The biggest reason I am glad to have him is the fact that he has helped fill the gap replaced by DT Frank Wideman who has been injured the last few weeks, and out a couple more.

TE Joseph Flores - 14 receptions for 140 yards in 6 games. My TE's don't light up the world usually but I still want a good one and Flores despite the low numbers. He did have a game winning TD in one game I believe.

LG Wilfredo Sheffield - Has started 3 of 6 games, and has played fine. 5 of 15 on KRB, 1 sack allowed. Started his mentor picked up as a FA, Paul Doucet, 3 games because he is a better run blocker.

Overall, they have improved my team, even thought they are not exactly lighting up the world.
