GG Argot. I don't have game access but looking at the boxscore it looks like May carved us up again. Congrats on making the playoffs and a 6-0 record in the NC West (something Vito and I will need to remedy next season).

Yeah, I found that out last season. I think LAW-GEO could be an epic wildcard game! And Madison will likely have their hands full with Carolina.

I remember a key 1st and 10 at the ORL 11 that turned into bupkiss based on a great Pirates' defensive stand. I thought for sure that would be "the game" when it happened". Surprised to be in position towards the end.

"Propane" finally getting a rushing title!!

"Fizz" Dietrich breaking 2,000 yards receiving!!

Omar Dabbs, picked up for peanuts or cheap off FA years ago, 3rd in the IFL for pass rushing % with 5 sacks in only 78 plays and 0 starts for us Phantoms.

Blake Bardon with an unspeakable 16 INTs on the season and what I personally think is even greater: 3 games WITHOUT an INT!!! (Makes you wonder how bad does PENN really suck to not make the playoffs? j/k )

Norman Enright tearing up the IFL with 50 Run Blocks... Closing in on Wayne Rogers, also of Newark Bulldog fame, with 429 to Norman's 320 career RBs. What's in that dirty water over in Newark???

"Can't fit in" Bryant Adams of the Phantoms ends up with 3 INTs, 4 FFs, and 4.5 sacks. I'll take that any year for a player who cost us a 2nd rounder and is a WLB IFL nightmare in the making!

To be thorough Danny "Dogs" Quellette had a historic season but I'm not a fan of FOF's QB-WR-WR, or as I call it the "lack of non-double-team-suicide-leaving-talented-WRs-to-run-free LACK-OF-DEFENSE" so I begrudingly post the results. The QB-WR-WR has never haunted me and I feel if more teams would simply force them to do it on their own every down it wouldn't be so much a "force" as it seems to be. I know when I have two great WRs I love to see double coverage.

London finish on a strong note and post their best ever regular season record of 14 - 2.

Ouellette breaks the season passing yds record and has the most 300+ yd games in a single season.

London's offense is the highest scoring offense ever in IFL history and also hits the most yards ever in one season.

A whole host of franchise records are shattered too.

I hear what you're saying Jester, although I'll point out that for a third of the season Omar Robinson was out injured so it wasn't all QB - WR - WR.
Vinny Graham had the fourth highest number of carries in the league and rushed for nearly 1200yds. We had a ground attack too.
However, when you have the passing talent that we have built into the roster, you gotta use it and I make no apologies for that.

Congrats to all the playoff bound teams, this is where it starts getting interesting!!

We lost a lot of close games. Statistically, we finished top 10 in both offense and defense. Same as last year. I'm a little concerned though, we went on a serious turnover/penalty binge during the second half of the year. Even so, we lost an incredible amount of very close games.

Thanks guys. And really, we just made it by the skin of our teeth. We needed to win our last 5 games in a row to sneak in and break the Fresno playoff curse.

That being said, it was a crazy season for the warthogs, setting all kinds of offensive records.

Schwartz threw for 4359 yards and 37 TDs, and we had Two 1000 yard running backs.

We led the league in yards per catch and yards per carry.

But, the thing I'm most proud of was the team record 418 offensive yards per game. Awesome.

Now we'll probably make an early exit, since we don't have a great defense to keep games close, but it was nice to smash through that glass ceiling.

that's amazing considering the talent level of those backs.

the only other time that's happened in the IFL (that I'm aware of) was in 2020 when Castillo and Jamison teamed up in Newark. the difference here being that there's 2 potential HOF RB's working together compared to 2 average joe's.....(no dis-respect intended)
quite the season you guys had, for sure.

Well that really blows. I had a feeling this would be how it went. We lost 5 games all season. 4 went to NWK and LAW. So, if we can't get out of our division we are doomed. We did it all this year on D without Winfred. He blew his hammy in preseason. It makes me wonder if he would have helped us in the tight divisional losses. GG to Jester.

Well, this loss concluded a weird season that was very disinteresting and ugly...it might haved help to game-plan every game I guess...Hahahaha. I think a move back to the 4-3 will help. All the right pieces are there to have a stout D. We need to improve our d-line and corners and we should be alright.

So here's the final line on Blake Barden. 113 tackles, 24 assists, 3 forced fumblesm 16 interceptions and a 96.2 pass defended %

It's the most impressive defensive season I've seen ever.

If this guy is not the DPOY it's a shame
