  • IFL history buffs: Allen Ho's career?

I just noticed that he's only slightly ahead of "Propane" on the career rushing list and only played from 2003 to 2008. Am I forgetting a career ending injury? I remember the name as one of the IFL Greats.

I remember him a bit. He probably was a 5 year pro already at the allocation draft. He was pretty good for the Killer Whales.

I went and checked his player card. He was born in 1973 so he was 29 or 30 years old when he entered the league.

We traded for him and ran the crap out of him. He was great but on a losing franchise.

Allan "Asian Invasion" Ho. First and last of his kind. 3 years with Vancouver and 3 with the Pirates. Topped 1000 yards every season and two of the three years we had him he led the league in rushing TDs with 13. His career was too short. Kind of like Dewitt Flynn's at only 3 years.

Doh! I wasn't thinking that the 2003 incomers weren't all real rookies age-wise.

I remember Dewitt Flynn pissing off many an IFL GM who couldn't replicate his carries per game. Guy was a workhorse.

I loved the name that someone gave him.

Oh ya, forgot that one. Much better and slightly more politically correct. I mean Ho's really don't have that much of a voice politically.
