Well,

I've been debating on doing this for a few seasons now, but continued to try and feign interest in the game because I really like you guys. I just can't keep doing it any more as I'm hardly even doing gameplans or watching my games. Hopefully with me posting early enough, Matt will be able to find someone to take over Houston while they still have a fighting chance.

I said I was going to stick it out through the remainder of the year, but I'm doing a great injustice to my team by not even submitting gameplans. I'd still like to see them go to the playoffs, so hopefully an active GM can make that happen.

It's been a great many years in the league, met some really cool people, and I'll be sure to check in here and there to see how Houston is doing.

Side note: After quitting, will I still be able to download the gameplan and watch games and keep track of trades, stats, etc?

I think one of the flaws of FOF is that non-team-owners can't view anything but the online stuff. Hurts people in your position and potential incomers who can't see what they're getting until they get it.

I will admit that if I had not moved back to the Mules I probably would have done the same with the Warthogs. Speaking of Fresno I wonder what the newest nickname/logo will be????

It's a real shame to hear you are leaving Steve.
You are a genuine and friendly owner who was also a skillful GM.
I remember your run to the Championship game a couple of seasons ago and just how stoked you were at playing in the big game.

We all need a break from this game sometime and hopefully you might rejoin the league after a sabatical.

Yes, if you download the league files and keep the stat files up to date, you should be able to follow along in game.

Can you teach me where I'm wrong on this? I assumed that team passwords changed. I was always fearful of someone having the Phantoms' password.

passwords never change. so as long as he keeps the game loaded on his pc, he will be ok

Sad days. But I understand. Im in 4 leagues. And, like you, the game is wearing thin on me. I will stay here, as this league is #1 in my heart. But others will be gone.
