FOF in General......

Ij catching a buzz, so take it for what its worth.

We seem to have 2 camps in this league. Those who know its a game and how to "play" it.
And those who want to change it to make more "realistic" or "fair".
I think that either side is not going to be satisfied never. I see the arguments that Steve is tossing. Make it fresh. I see what Jester is tossing, those changes will accompllish nothing.
Where I fall is on Jesters side.

This is a great league. It isnt full of outstanding GMs. Not because they "know" thw game. But becuse they enjoy the interaction. I dont think any change will help the game, unless it is done by Gindin Any rule change or lack of will dinenfranchise some team.

My opinion is enjpoy the league. GM-wise it is the best Ive seen. Dont get caught up in the game. It is what it is.

FoF sucks. The only thing that makes this league good are the people. House rules probably can't fix FoF. However, there seems to be more arguing than fun shit lately, so even the latter can be up for debate.

Worth considering... but is the latter the "same old" or are there fresh ideas? I'll admit I was strong in our other talks but I just don't see substance in the suggestions.

If you put up a vote on whether FOF is stale (not quite "sucks") then I think we'd get close to 32 positive votes (again to touch on the "better" subject). But I don't think any suggestions have been, or maybe even could be, better to improve a software game that would then require human overseeing.

And if you start off "FOF sucks" then why not quit and be quiet? Again, not suggesting you to quit as I like you as a GM, but just responding to your post in as logical as I can.
