I never use '100' on any player. Usually, I go 85% if its a stud player with a lot of endurance. Defensive line I tend to go lower and get a rotation going if I can. Don't really know if it matters or not but it is what I do. I feel If I play someone at '100' I am setting them up to get hurt. Don't know if that is true either but knock on wood I've been pretty lucky on injuries with this team.

I go 100 if it's a situational player. If I have a LB who has High run defense and I play him in base/GL, I will give him 100% because he'll be subbed out in Nickel and Dime anyway.Originally posted by BOSS View PostI never use '100' on any player. I've been jacking up the playing percentage to near 100% if it's a low endurance guy to get him on the field more. I wonder if that could be a contributing factor to my team's penalty "problem" despite my coach's good discipline and long tenure. It also gives me plenty of "Tired" messages the next week.Last edited by markc; 03-20-2013, 06:47 PM.

maybe I'm doing something wrong. All my starters are at 100% unless I'm trying to give a backup player some additional snaps.
from what I thought I knew, endurance ratings indicate the # of plays they will be on the field for and doesn't impact anything elseNEWARK BULLDOGS WALL OF HONOR

On offense I like enough backups to sustain a 15 yard drive. While I like enough players to rotate on DLine in real life, in FOF I've found that jacking up the playing time in line with what each player's endurance allows, makes me believe I'm getting the other team's offense off the field quicker via the use of all starters in at once. I've had 2 DE's with roughly 100 endurance for a few seasons now and have both of them set at 100% play-time, though their backups still get in on a number of plays per game.
In real life the penalties go up as players are tired and focus suffers.Originally posted by markc View PostI've been jacking up the playing percentage to near 100% if it's a low endurance guy to get him on the field more. What I've always wanted was a dedicated specials coach you could hire just like your coordinators, and a specials gameplan.
And an overtime "gameplan or tendencies" option.
I hate overtime..the ai goes nuts and there goes your gameplan.sigpic

Keep in mind to balance those penalty stats with the fact that at straight 80% across the board you have a back-up in at every 5th position all game (overall average).

Position. Picture OLine (5 guys). Each plays 4 out 5 plays so theoretically and to make my point:
Play 1: LT is subbed out
Play 2: LG is subbed out
Play 3: C is subbed out
Play 4: RG is subbed out
Play 5: RT is subbed out
They've all played 4 out of 5 plays, or 80% of the snaps.

Not saying this is definitely a bad thing. 2 penalties for a whole game is great and maybe you have quality back-ups.
