Plus, once I sat down there was no getting up. My back is fucked up from digging a rather large hole yesterday. (Had to have one of my great danes put down yesterday morning :cry: )

I was gonna make a joke about not seeing Loren around for the past few days but nah. Sucks to lose a pet.

Well, Loren is working again so she will be on less for a while I'm sure.

And yeah, losing a pet blows, especially when you are the one who has to decide to end it's life or let it suffer. Now I need to see how my other two dogs react to it. Mainly Hoss, who is my oldest. Two years ago when Brutus died (the brother of Shreen, the female who died yesterday), both Hoss and Shreen got pretty depressed. We got a puppy a couple months later to see if it would help and it did. I don't really want to runout and get another dog, but Hoss is already looking a little bummed out about this. They had been together for about 8-9 years now.

Nah dude, it's rough. My 2 "childhood" pets died when I was like 22 and 25, my dog went first, although it was really more my moms as time went on but she was real old, like 15 so it wasn't unexpected, but she was sick for about 2 weeks and every day we kept hoping she would get better, eventually there was nothing that could be done.

My cat started having spasms in his belly one night and died in my arms on the way to an animal hospital at like 3 in the morning, thats some rough shit, he was all mine which made it much worse.

I've got a good size chunk of land here but I just can't invest in anymore animals emotionaly, it sucks.
