pretty bad lighting on the picture. Failry certain Schwartz is white, although schwartz means black in german. Whatever - lol

Game went about how I expected minus the Schwartz freak injury that is.

        Madison has no weaknesses.

Hey Jester, Sugar took offense to your comments and showed you the future. 26-135 and 3 TDs.
I liked how we played. Brings back memories of when Sanford hadnt developed yet and we relied on DH.
Now I see I lost 2 WRs. So we will have an interesting pass game.

While I don't want the legend of my comments to get out of hand - "Sugar" is obviously going to be an IFL talent - I've seen nothing to fear thus far...

            1) Phantoms have beaten Tulsa 79-20 in the past 2 games. Counting Tulsa regression, that's a lot of space for 1 man to recover.

            2) Phantoms have started 2023 with a 91-17 jump on the IFL.

            3) "Propane" and my OLine are the current IFL rushing juggernaught for defenses to fear.

            4) I love early regular season matchups like this win or lose!

Texas: I formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 with nickel personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, expecting the pass.
4-2-MUR36 (2Q: 13:11) P Shaun Antel pass completed to RB Sam Jensen for 9 yards. Tackled by DE Quinn Seiferling, assisted by CB Shane Prestbye. Jensen gained 4 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage. Texas's Shaun Antel was hurt on the play. This appears to be a minor hand injury. He should be able to remain in the game.

First time I ever saw a punt fake pass by the punter. Or is it? We lined up in a regular formation. GG dthompso8. Lucky to have won this one.

in the early days I was completly clueless, unlike now when I am merly without clues, I had trick plays maxed out all the time and occasionally the P would chuck one or the holder would pop up and chuck one. I also had a bunch of DEs catching random passes cause I had any reciever selected in some slots on the formations. Anyways thats a long way to recall that Willoughby once completed a pass to himself for 10-20 yards IIRC. Yes that Willoughby of the Willoughby line. If you are not at least as good as Willoughby you cannot be in this league.

Willoughby did show my temperment though. I just refused to dump the loser until I found a true replacement. Which was Peterson

1-10-DAK45 (1Q: 07:39) Clayton Chung ran inside the left guard for 1 yard. Tackled by ILB Lester Butler, assisted by DT Colin Bridges

That was the first game when I took over for a disgraced GM. Can't remember who that was but the next 2 games Chung ran and caught his own passes. He gained 107 yards on the ground and caught 5 passes that day. lol

All in all...pretty good play from an 0-2 team that hasn't lost by more than 7.
Good game! May really had his way with us in the short passing game. Without those drops, he's completing 75% of his passes. We just made a handful of plays to get off the field when we needed to. Perkins also completed some big passes when you were playing the pass aggressively, so we were pretty fortunate.

After our opening effort, I was thinking the season would be a disaster. It still could be, but we'll see how the next few weeks go, starting in Los Angeles.

                        1) We were bad last season. Sanford had his worst season as a starter out side of his developmental seasons. We had no run game.

                        2) We have a 60-10 jump on the IFL.

                        3) We have allowed 127 total rushing yards this season. Propane is a gas that cannot flow through a brick wall.

                        4) Im talking trash as we will get smoked Im sure. But Im hoping we reverse the trend. Unfortunatley, we are missing 2 WRS for this one.

Well, Georgia looked pretty good, game was never in doubt. I guess I need to write a memo to staff to wake up the DB’s before next game. Maybe it was election Tuesday hangover?? Anyhoo, GG to Beeznil looks like your new game plan worked well.

Was wondering if someone could give me some insight to the following. Is this normal not to get credit for the yards and a FFOF bug?

The receiver gained 18 yards on the play it is then third and second? Why not a first down?

2-12-LOU11 (2Q: 05:42) Alfred Sullivan pass completed to RB Tito Vila for 10 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by CB Howie Oxarart. Vila gained 8 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

3-2-LOU21 (2Q: 05:00) PENALTY: Louisiana was called for a False Start.

The first line tells you the total yardage gained (10). "Vila gained 8 YAC" is just a further description of the play (2 yard pass, 8 YAC).

It's more obvious on longer YAC such as "pass completed for 64 yards, so and so got 58 YAC"

Guess we should have sat our QB, RB, WR, and DE again...and then rexxed the gameplan. Frustrating loss.
