Help, my install is corrupted

I can no longer run the game. I uninstalled/reinstalled still no luck

Not an expert here but are you getting the elicense not found error. If so I had to reinstall and use my last license to recover a couple of weeks ago.

I had a really "BAD" shutdown and the elicense for FOF2k4 and OOTP6 were whacked. Seemed to be the only things affected.

Here is some virtually useless info for you. You will want to remove the unattached threads, I use a program called fix-it to do this. That will reallly give you a clean slate when you reinstall the game. Might also want to try the reinstall on a different partition, I know that would be inconvenient but it may work. You are NOT using your C drive for non system functions are you???

Keep in mind, the game will tell you your install is corrupted if you install the wrong "version" of the game. I did that a while ago and couldn't fiqure it out, untill 3 days later, I noticed I was installing an older version. Once I installed the correct version, BINGO, worked.

Just a thought, something to try.

I should have mentioned that uninstall/reinstall doesn't not work and that the control panel "elicense" item is not accessible

Get on AIM when you get a chance. You aren't giving me much to work with..not sure what your problem is and how we can fix it.
