I dont know if and how long I will be without power but Expecting a hurricane here monday. I am sure you have all seen it on the news. I will use my phone to keep in contact if i lose power monday/tuesday.

Yeah I will be buying some cases of water and such. Filling some empty water jugs i have so i can flush the toilet ETC lol. Hurricanes arent the norm up here I guess if they are gonna be I should invest in a generator.

I can tell you from experience, it takes 2 gallons of water to successfully flush a toilet

Eh its preseason im not asking for any extensions. Just saying I may be out of action for like a week.

From the comments on the TWC you may be out for longer then a week depending on where you are.

Power went out around 430. Worst part of the storm is over here. Got through it with some minor siding damage. Restoration efforts on electricity are under way. 300,000 people without power here right now. My power company is one of 3 in the state. They have 2000 line crews working to get everyone back. 10 pm will be high tide and a lot of flooding at the shoreline cause long island sound is over full with water right now. Thankfully i am not in an area that will be flooded. Hope to have per back in the next couple days.
