thanks for your post in regard to my navigation issues ...

Sui ... yes I am using Windows 7

Mat ... I tried Chrome ... it initially improved but eventually went back to the same issues ... "server too busy, try again".

> cannot retrieve PMs or try to navigate the forum.

I am in another FOF league and do not have this problem on their forum. I am in a baseball league and similary do not have any issues on their hosted site either.

I am at a loss for now ... any and all ideas are welcome.

Have you cleaned your hard drive? I use Google Chrome and sometimes it gets to this so I do a quick cleaning of the hard drive and it clears it up.

somewhere on this site recently there was a post by Matt that cleared that issue up for me. Something like click 'run as admin' or something. I know thats less than useful...

There is a little thing in the address bar beside the refresh icon. Run IE in combatibility mode. Problem is, from what I've seen is that he wouldn't be able to post at all.

I will try and do some research and see what I can figure out.

That always works for retreiving files, maybe it will clear up your issue.

Strange that Chrome worked at first. I'm guessing it was only for a short while and not worth un/installing?

Hopefully someone has a new idea here.

Steve ... thanks a lot for your try to help. Did the flush several times. The first time I thought it did the trick and tried to post a thank you and then it reverted to its old self. Tried it again about five times but no banana.

Also tried google chrome rather than esxplorer .. no better.

What I cannot understand is that this is the ONLY site that I am experienceing these issues ... I just dop not understand.

I just did a search and it seems to be a common issue. One posted fix is for another version of vBulletin. When I logged in as an admin it stated that there's a patch to our version. Maybe that would help, Matt/Sui?

the "fix" that everyone talks about is already in place. i'm still looking......hopes that we can resolve.

WOW ... working great today. I feel like a new man who just got out of prison (not to say that I have any experience in that venue however).

It is great to be back and fingers are crossed that this is not just a one time deal!!!
